Mr Chris Coates

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Chris Coates qualified from St Thomas` Hospital in 1976.
He gained his FRCS in London in 1981. After surgical training
in Portsmouth, St George's and Wolverhampton, his Orthopaedic
training was carried out at the London Hospital and Charing
Cross Hospital rotations. He spent a year as Clinical
Orthopaedic Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics at the Royal
Childrens Hospital in Melbourne. He was appointed Consultant
in Trauma and Orthopaedics to the Royal Surrey County
Hospital in 1991. He is a member of the BOA, British Society
of Childrens Orthopaedic Surgery, British Association
for Surgery of the Knee and the RSM.
