Halliwell BSc, FRCS Orth Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Mr. Halliwell qualified from Guy’s Hospital and trained in orthopaedic surgery on the South West Thames Programme from St. George’s Hospital. He underwent special Fellowship training in trauma and reconstructive surgery, including that of the foot and ankle, in Toronto, Canada. He also trained as Fellow in paediatric orthopaedic surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He has published work on subjects including tibial fractures, hand injuries and computerised surgical data collection. He has won prizes for his work on brain development, ankle fractures, spine injuries and fractures of the acetabulum. Surgical Practice Mr Halliwell has a special interest in the management of foot and ankle orthopaedics in adults and children. In addition he performs primary hip and knee replacement together with trauma surgery.
