Peter Magnussen FRCS MS Orth
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Peter Magnussen qualified from the Middlesex Hospital
in 1977. After basic surgical training he spent 16 months
as “the surgeon” in a mission hospital in Zululand. His
Orthopaedic training took place at St George's Hospital,
Leicester University and Bristol. He has undertaken specialist
fellowships in Hand and microsurgery in Sydney together
with knee and sports medicine in Melbourne and Lund. He
was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to The Rowley
Bristow Hospital in 1990 and to the Royal Surrey in 1995.
